Ashley Oosthuizen is nearly four years into a life sentence in Thai prison.
She was arrested on the island of Koh Samui after being set up by the police to take the fall for the man she loved.
Tristan Nettles was a medical school student, business owner and former high school science teacher at Panyadee International School on Koh Samui in Thailand from 2017 until the summer of 2020.
Tristan has freely admitted to using bitcoin and the dark web to import party drugs to Panyadee International School's main office mailroom starting in 2017.
Many packages were sent into the school before Ashley Oosthuizen ever even lived in Thailand.
On October 8th, 2020 a package arrived to Ashley's place of work, a restaurant owned by Tristan. During a busy shift a police sent package man arrived and ordered for her to sign for a package despite knowing that she was not the man to whom it was addressed to.
Within ten minutes the police arrived.
Following her setup Ashley was then taken to a government black house where she was interrogated without a lawyer or interpreter present. She was forced to sign documents that were written in all Thai against her will under threat of rape and death. A far too common occurence for suspects in Thai police custody, as shown further below.
Ashley was only 21 years old at this time. She had never been in trouble with the police before in her life and was now all alone in an unmarked location surrounded by 15 men threatening her with bodily harm or worse if she did not do what they wanted.
Ashley has been incarcerated since October 8, 2020 in Thai prison.

These few examples only touch the tip of the iceberg. Is it any wonder then that this 21 year old girl cooperated? They told her they knew it was not her. They told her they would help her if she signed.
Then she got handed a life sentence anyway
During the fifteen months immediately following Ashley's arrest Tristan resigned medical school and taught himself how to code in order to make this and other websites to bring Ashley's nightmare to the world's attention.
In addition to coding he began writing and then finished an original novel dedicated to Ashley. 100% of the author profits from her novel will go directly to Ashley's donation fund, Hearts4Ashley, which is under the direct control of Ashley's mother, Lynn Blignaut, to be used in Ashley's ongoing struggle.
The purpose of this novel, which will be published March 12, 2024, is to raise enough resources and publicity for Ashley Oosthuizen to finally get her voice heard on the world stage. This will then allow for alternate outcomes than her current ongoing life sentence to be arranged.
Once Tristan finished building the websites and writing the novel back in February 2022, he then went to war for Ashley.
Tristan left everything behind and went to volunteer with the Ukrainian Foreign Legion in their newly started war against the Russians. The reason that Tristan went to war in Ukraine was because he believed that by helping to fight for other people's freedom, that other people would now help him to fight for Ashley's.
Everyday new attempts were made to get her story reported to the outside world.
After more than 2,000 emails sent in country, Tristan finally got a major news outlet to agree to run a story on Ashley.
After a particularly violent mission in which multiple men were lost, including an American, the reporter named Seth Harp from Rollingstone magazine finally became interested in Tristan's repeated messages about Ashley.
Tristan sent Seth Harp everything about Miss Oosthuizen. Yet when the piece was finished, Ashley had barely been mentioned at all. The entire focus was on the second American to be killed in action in Ukraine instead.

Without the medias attention, know one ever heard about Tristan's ongoing war for Ashley. After seven months in country and losing all but two guys from the starting thirteen he left.
